PPS A&K SVD ALUMINUM PISTON (PPS-12027)

The task of airsoft gun pistons is to compress air in the cylinder with the help of the piston head, with which the gun can shoot the bb. There are several types of pistons. SR-25 or the AEG dragunovs, half-pinion pistons with a 32:1 ratio can be used, since no other piston could slide back with this ratio. The pistons can be made of plastic or aluminum, the goal is to be as light as possible and withstand as much force as possible. A weaker ( below 350fps) it is enough to use a piston made of plastic and a steel toothed piston, such as a DMR, for which it is better to install a cnc-made aluminum piston, as this part is exposed to greater forces. It is important to use a fully half-toothed piston (or hardened steel toothed ) as the piston is most exposed to wear at its teeth.

The (spring) sniper rifles use pistons of different sizes, there are also different systems here (l96, vsr) they work with standard sizes, but some sizes vary by manufacturer for springs, for example. There are also many different materials of these (plastic, aluminum) and for these it is recommended to use the factory as soon as possible replacement.
